How to Request Data Deletion

For Students:
To request deletion of your Novi account and data:

  1. Contact your school administrator and ask them to delete your Novi account from the school dashboard, OR

  2. Email us directly at privacy@getnovi.co.uk with:

    • Your full name

    • Your email address used in Novi

    • Your school name

    • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

We will process your request within 30 days as required by UK GDPR.

What Data is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  • ✓ Your name and email address

  • ✓ Your school association

  • ✓ Your device information

  • ✓ Your focus mode history (presence status, tap-in/tap-out records)

  • ✓ Your Firebase authentication account

Data We Retain Temporarily

  • Anonymized audit logs are retained for 90 days for security purposes, then automatically deleted

  • These logs do not contain personally identifiable information after account deletion
